Overview
The project was launched after a quick duration of 16 weeks. During the process, I’ve worked closely with the clients and our dev team across 3 time zones, 4 different cities.
My responsibility was UX&UI design, interaction design, concept prototyping, and micro animations. You will need the login credentials to experience the product. However, if you are interested in learning more about what the product is, please visit its marketing site.

After the project was launched, the client demoed Ready Set Go (now rebranded as ReadyLXP) to districts around the country (the US) has received very positive feedback. TEG now partners with new Florida DOE Leadership and will provide Ready LXP to deliver best practices and mentoring to school leaders across Florida.
our mission
Ready Set Go is a multiplatform app designed for K12 educators to explore relevant instructional strategies to enhance their continued learning and professional development. Strategies are the core experience: weekly notifications of high-impact, competency-aligned resources to continuously build an educator’s working knowledge of different instructive techniques, how to implement them in the classroom, as well as critical reflection.
The digital platform also provides a line of sight for school and district administrators to better understand and reflect upon these instructional strategies.
Project goals
the big picture
The app provides educators with high-quality, instructional strategies that align with school and district goals. Educators engage in a supportive professional learning community that fosters collaboration and sharing best practices.
The Vision: it’s a journey, where the beginner evolves alongside the app!
Design process
The goal was for teachers to have a fun experience using the app. To evoke this friendliness, we used purple as the primary tone in combination with a modern typeface, playful illustrative style, fun micro animations, and colorful icons.

Weekly recommended strategy notifications & personalized teacher dashboards
Strategies are the core experience of Ready Set Go, where teachers can receive high-impact, competency-aligned resources and information to support the delivery of effective instruction in the classroom.
Teachers will receive strategies weekly via either in-app notifications or emails.

Cards for different occasions
Delivering content in a card-based system
Conceptually, we wanted to use various card styling to make content visually stand out more. The challenge was to design a family of cards, using visual cues to differentiate between them, i.e. a Step Card to show how to conduct a method step by step, which involves the interaction of swiping between steps; a Form Card to be used in forms where teachers would write down their experience and reflections; a Document card to provide a list of resources for viewing and downloading; etc.
With the help of unique visual treatments, such as colors, fonts, iconography, etc., we created a system of card components that would seamlessly coordinate with our primary theme color - purple. Editors can select a card type that best matches their content type.
We assigned icons for certain card types. At the meantime, we expanded our color palette to make sure the new colors not only work well with the card type but also our purple theme color.
